Larry Thompson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida State University in 1981 and is a certified public accountant. Larry started his career in public accounting where he provided accounting and tax services to businesses and individuals. After six years, he left public accounting and accepted his first job in private industry as the vice president of Finance at a printing and publishing company with sales in excess of $50 million annually.
In May of 1995, Larry began his career with the Florida Association of Insurance Agents. He is a senior vice president and chief operating officer and is responsible for all accounting and financial functions, office and building administration, and human resources.
