FAIA's Convention offers many opportunities for attendees to network and unwind, including Wednesday's Young Agents Council Golf Tournament, Thursday's Opening Night Party, hospitality functions, and the Business and Awards Breakfast on Saturday.
The Young Agents Council hosts its annual golf tournament Wednesday June 7, 2017, at Falcon's Fire Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation, an organization that exists to provide hope of a brighter future for those whose lives have been permanently altered as a result of their service to our great nation. Visit the tournament page for registration and/or sponsorship information.
Thursday night starts at 6:30 with a lavish dinner; this is a great time to reconnect with business associates, or make new ones, in a casual setting. Party on the Moon, voted America's No. 1 Corporate and Private Party Band, takes the stage at 8:00 p.m. for a non-stop, high-energy show featuring the latest in dance music plus everyone's old favorites. Both the dinner and concert are included in a full registration.
Company hospitality events are a key part of FAIA’s Convention. Typically held on Friday night, the events provide agents with opportunities to meet and greet with key industry players. Chances are, if you didn't see the company you want to do business with in the exhibit hall, you will find its representatives at the hospitality events.
The Business & Awards Breakfast runs from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday and includes installation of officers, presentation of the Chairman's award, and keynote speaker John Spence, one of the Top 100 Business Thought Leaders in America. John is an international keynote speaker and management consultant with 23 years of experience who has written five books on business and life success, and has made a career out of "making the very complex...awesomely simple." During his motivating keynote, "The Formula for Business Excellence," John will share the fundamental elements for building and sustaining a highly successful company. You'll also learn how to attract and retain top talent, own the voice of the customer, and how culture equals cash.
