Call to Volunteer Service

FAIA’s success is a testament to the strength of its members, who time and time again impress with their willingness to give of their time and talents. Each June, a new and energized group of leaders is elected at Convention, and just a few weeks later, they chart the course for the coming year at Planning Session. 

The association’s work in any given year is guided by the “Plan of Work.” The four governing councils—Education, Legislative, Membership & Operations, and Young Agents—and associated task forces develop charges for the coming year, and a plan to accomplish the goals.

Please consider lending your expertise, ideas, and efforts to FAIA by serving on one of its councils or task forces.

While the work can be challenging, the outcome—whether less or smarter regulation, effective legislation, improved education offerings, or increased participation among young agents—is rewarding.

There’s a task force to match any member’s interest. Rise to the challenge and volunteer!
