Big ‘I’ modifies its record retention guidelines
Records aren’t what they used to be. Though many are still printed documents that are filed away, more and more records are digital, stored on a computer or in the cloud. It may be tempting to keep records longer when they take up less “space,” which could raise another set of risks. Discuss the changing nature of risk with fellow agents at ACT meeting
The Big “I” Agents Council for Technology (ACT) has identified several trends that will change the nature of risk and is in the process of creating action plans to deal with them. These trends—which include telematics and the sharing economy—are on the agenda for the November 1 ACT meeting in Boca Raton, held in conjunction with ACORD2016. Get the details.
