Q. What attracted you to this business?
A. The ability to make my own schedule and an unlimited earning potential.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A. Still owning the agency but with more employees and me spending more time doing what I love…sales!

Q. If you weren’t an insurance agent, what would be?
A. Some type of entrepreneur.

Q. What would people be surprised to know about you?
A. I am married to my high school sweetheart.

Q. What is your guilty pleasure?
A. Wine and dark chocolate…together!

Q. What is the No. 1 thing on your bucket list?
A. Travel around Europe for a month.

Q. What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the insurance business?
A. If you are joining the family business, go work for another company first for the experience. Get involved with FAIA so you do not have to recreate the wheel every time you hit a bump in the road. Always do what is best for the client, even if that means telling them to stay put with their current policy. Go to continuing education classes, don’t just take them online; you get so much more out of the class when you are physically present.

Q. What is the best professional advice you’ve ever received?
A. It is that little extra effort that you put in that makes all the difference and separates you from the competition, so don’t give up when it gets tough!

2014 YAC Golf Tournament registration is already underway. Enter before it sells out!
