Saving time, reducing duplication of effort, increasing
profitability, and improving customer service. These things are so
important in the insurance business that a coalition of industry groups
created a special day in their honor!
April 9 is the second annual National Real Time Day,
a day dedicated to focusing extra energy and attention on Real Time and
Download, agency interfaces that save insurance professionals time and
money by offering a single, consistent workflow for multiple carriers
The first National Real Time Day
was held last year on Leap Day. Like last year, Real Time Day 2013 will
provide carriers, agents, brokers, associations, and user groups with a
special time to ask questions, share insights and challenges, and
explore how Real Time and Download can boost profitability by
streamlining workflows to drive more growth.
Agencies that use Real Time and Download save an average of an hour
each day per person, by eliminating multiple data entry and password
management, leaving your management system to visit a carrier site, and
other redundant work. With just two people using Real Time and Download, an agency can save more than a day’s worth of work each and every week! What can your agency do with that extra time?
This year, the FAIA Automation Task Force produced a Real Time webcast, Real Time Makes Real Sense, that will fetch 2 hours of CE. Its debuts at 10 a.m. on National Real Time Day, with rebroadcasts on the following dates:
- April 10, 2:00 p.m.
- May 14, 10:00 a.m.
- May 15, 2:00 p.m.
Working with ACT and AUGIE, the task force also recreated the white paper titled “Real Time Talking Points.” For a better understanding of the whole Real Time Campaign, read “Real Time Makes Real $$$$$”. (Both documents are in the FAIA Community; login is required.)
When you’re ready to take action, check out the Implementation Guide. Look at the specific steps that will help your agency leap ahead in the quest for efficiency and profitability.
You can also find out more about specific Real Time offerings from the lists of carriers and vendors and click through to learn more. Still having issues with Download? The drill is basically the same, and you can see what vendors and carriers offer that might help you work better.
And don’t forget to “Like” Eddie, the campaign mascot, on his Facebook page. It’s a great way to stay informed!
