As Director of Governmental Affairs and General Counsel, Laura is FAIA's onsite lobbyist responsible for making our views known to lawmakers and for implementing strategies set down by the Board of Directors. She brings nearly two decades of experience as both a lawyer and lobbyist from the Boyd Law Firm; Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen; Akerman Senterfitt; Panza, Maurer & Maynard; and Smith & Ballard. Laura also served as an assistant general counsel for the Florida Department of Transportation and holds degrees from Stetson University and the University of Florida College of Law.
