We've updated our website to make it easier for you to register for our On the Road classes. Registration Online is available as soon as locations and class approvals are finalized. Printable registration forms will be available as a brochure at least 30-45 days prior to the class date. We may have it ready earlier if we can get a commitment from the location (hotel) any earlier.
Our most common concern from members is that they are not on the pre-printed roster at the door on the day of class. Most of the time, that is because registrations were either faxed without a payment, or after the advance registration deadline date (every Friday before the class). We can still let you into the class on a "walk-in" basis, but we request you sign up in advance whenever possible please! Books and seats are reserved for advance registrants. So to be sure you get a book and seat, register early!
To get registration information using the website:
Go to: www.faia.com
Click on Events (at the top of the screen)
Scroll down to the class you want (you can sort by city or date)
Click on the class title
Now you can register:
- Online by clicking register (Save $30/class!)
- By mail/fax by clicking brochure
TO REGISTER ONLINE WITH A CREDIT CARD
By selecting the "Register" button, you will start the online registration process. At any point, you can Contact the Education Department at either classroom@faia.com or (850) 893-4155 for login information and assistance.
You will be prompted for your individual (not agency) login # and password.
Once you have logged in, you can select to register Yourself or Someone Else
The Someone Else feature is only available for employees of your agency we currently have listed in our system.
If you don't see the person listed, contact FAIA Education Department. DO NOT continue the registration process. Our online system will not allow you to update or modify records in our database. We will need to create a record for this new person.
Once you have "who" you are registering, and validate their information, you will be asked to verify the class that you want.
At Checkout you will see all of the classes and employees that you currently have registered.
During the Checkout, you will need to provide your credit card (AMEX, MasterCard or VISA) information. Please, fill in every blank.
After you have successfully completed this process, you will receive an online registration confirmation.
Remember that online registrations are only available up to the Friday before each class date.
TO REGISTER BY MAIL OR FAX
By selecting the "Brochure" button, after you click the class title an acrobat registration form will appear. These can be sent to FAIA:
By Mail: This allows you to print the registration form from the website. Fill it out, attach your check or credit card (only MasterCard or VISA) number WITH expiration date, or money order and mail it to us. Our address is FAIA, PO Box 12129, Tallahassee, FL 32317.
By Fax: Again you'll print the form from the website. Fill it out, put in your credit card (only MasterCard or VISA) number WITH expiration date and fax it to us at (850) 668-2852. Fax registrations must include credit card information please.
NEVER print the page from the online registration to fax to us. If you want to print for your records, that's ok, but we cannot accept registrations printed from that section of the website.
We really need you to register in advance so we know how many books to bring, seats to reserve, sodas to buy, etc. Plus, you get a $30 discount/class for registering early! But if you don't get your registration in early, be sure to bring your completed registration form and payment with you, and arrive early because our classes are usually full.
